Biofutures business and investment in Queensland can benefit from the state's mix of natural resources, skilled workforces, world-class research and development, and established supporting industries. Queensland has a $1 billion pipeline of potential major biofutures projects that are advancing through planning processes.  Development of these projects is supported by the Queensland Government's Biofutures 10-Year Roadmap and Action Plan, and Biofuels Mandate.
 
The Queensland Government's dedicated officers and agencies can offer a range of business and investment services to international investors including: knowledge about business costs; support preparing business cases; arranging site visits; introductions to industry and service providers; liaising with government agencies; research and market intelligence; and partnering with local councils, economic development agencies and private service providers to identify 'investment ready' projects.
